Toyota offers the 2026 RAV4 in three distinct exterior designs across seven grades. Core covers LE, XLE Premium, and Limited. Rugged is the Woodland grade. Sport covers SE, XSE, and the first-ever RAV4 GR SPORT. Every grade is a Hybrid or Plug-in Hybrid; there is no gas-only RAV4 for 2026.

A Fully Electrified Lineup
The current RAV4 lineup is entirely Hybrid or Plug-In Hybrid; there is no conventional gas-only model. Hybrid all-wheel-drive models produce 236 net combined horsepower and front-wheel-drive models 226, both increases over the prior generation.

The Plug-In Hybrid carries a manufacturer-estimated 52 miles of all-electric range, with all-wheel drive standard across PHEV grades. It charges from a standard household outlet or a 240V Level 2 home charger, and the gasoline engine takes over for longer trips.

The Plug-In Hybrid adds a larger battery charged from a household outlet or a 240V Level 2 charger, currently rated by Toyota at a manufacturer-estimated 52 miles of all-electric range, with standard all-wheel drive and higher combined output. The Plug-In Hybrid generally makes sense for drivers who can charge at home and drive primarily locally; drivers without home charging access typically see more benefit from the Hybrid.
What warranty and maintenance coverage is included?
The 2026 RAV4 carries Toyota’s 36-month/36,000-mile basic new-vehicle warranty, 60-month/60,000-mile powertrain coverage, and 60-month corrosion perforation coverage with no mileage limit. Hybrid-related components are covered for 8 years/100,000 miles, and the hybrid battery for 10 years/150,000 miles, transferable across ownership. ToyotaCare covers normal factory-scheduled maintenance for one year or 10,000 miles, with two years of unlimited-mileage roadside assistance.
